The Patient Care Assistant II assists patient care unit staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse; carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.

Tower-3 is composed of 36 private rooms and considered a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit with specialty knowledge in the areas surrounding Oncology and Renal. Exhibits interpersonal skills that portray professionalism and maximize excellence in customer service and safe patient care. Functions in a skills mix environment, and directly supervises and delegates tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff. Tower-3 provides our clinical staff with a wide range of opportunities such blood and blood product transfusions, chemotherapy, care of the oncology patient, care of the peritoneal and hemodialysis patient, wound care, telemetry monitoring, as well as overall care of the medical/surgical patient. CNA/LNA - Oncology, Tower 3, Minimum Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED

* Active LNA license, in good standing

* BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

* At least one (1) year experience
