Job Summary:

Prepares, processes, stores and issues sterile and other medical supplies and special technical equipment to hospital departments. Overseen by the Lead Sterile Processing Technician. Reports directly to the Perioperative Services Director.

Requirements:

Understands aseptic techniques and the practice of tray design and sterile procedure. Extensive knowledge of medical supplies, equipment, and surgical instrumentation. General knowledge of Central Service operations and organization. Speaks, reads and writes English.

�High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
�1-2 years working with medical supplies, surgical instruments and sterilization equipment preferred.
�Surgical Tech Certificate preferred
�American Heart Association BLS/CPR preferred.
